Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is an industrial real estate operating platform owned by The Blackstone Group Inc. Link currently manages a national portfolio of high-quality, well-located industrial assets totaling over 400 million square feet throughout the U.S. 


The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible to help ensure long-term occupancy in company properties by providing and ensuring that third party firms provide the highest possible level of customer service to tenants and maintain the appearance of assigned properties to company standards as well as monitoring the overall financial health of all properties within the assigned region. Position reports to the Director of Property Management. This position can be based out of the LINK office in Walnut Creek, Sacramento or Irvine, CA.


  • Oversight of the operational activity of a subset of properties within a designated region under the guidance of the Director of Property Management.
  • Oversight of rent collections and general tenant accounts receivable for a subset of properties within a designated region under the guidance of Director of Property Management
  • Point of contact for Asset Managers within the region.
  • Point of contact for property managers for financially sensitive tenant/property issues, including but not limited to tenant defaults, high dollar capital or vacant space preparation and emergency work needed on site.
  • Coordinate and work with the Project Management team and providers on all major repairs and capital items, including Tenant Improvements and Vacant Space Preparation.  
  • In conjunction with the Director and Regional Asset Manager, develop and implement an overall Strategic Asset Plan (business plan) designed to enhance the value of the assigned properties. Continually evaluate all phases of building operation in order to enhance the efficiency of the operation and maximize cost effectiveness.

  • Conduct periodic visits, inspections and surveys, and implement effective tenant retention programs.
  • Manage the assets, both self and third party managed, in the most profitable and cost-effective manner.
  • Review of quarterly variance reports explaining differences in actual vs. budgeted expenses submitted by property management teams. 
  • Review operating expense reconciliations that are prepared by the accounting staff for both self-managed and third-party managed locations.
  • Review and track property management performance.
  • Ensure smooth transition of tenants into portfolio with property manager.
  • Oversee Move-in and Move-out process with Property Managers & Real Estate Manager.
  • Maintain lease tracker with Asset Management and Property Managers.
  • Review Budgets submitted from third-party managers, internal property managers and Real Estate Managers within an assigned region.
  • Assist with Acquisition and Disposition diligence reviews.
  • Assist the Director with on-boarding new property processes.
  • Participate in leasing and operational calls with the Asset Management Team.
  • Access and License Agreement review and approval.
  • Resolution of code/zoning/city violations/issues.


  • BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management; CPM/RPA designation preferred.
  • Broad commercial real estate and financial background with 8+ years of relevant experience as Property/Portfolio Manager with experience in all facets of property operation and management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Yardi or similar platform.
  • Self-motivation, determination and initiative in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
