Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is an industrial real estate operating platform owned by The Blackstone Group Inc.  Link currently manages a national portfolio of high-quality, well-located industrial assets totaling over 397 million square feet throughout the U.S. 


The Real Estate Accountant, Cash, is responsible for performing GAAP Accounting Requirements including but not limited to: Straight Line Rent inclusive of blend and extend methodology, recoveries and the various methods of recovery (CAM, DB, Direct Pay;) intangible assets related to leasing. In addition, the Real Estate Accountant-Cash will be responsible for performing accounting methods with the understanding of Basic Real Estate verbiage, including but not limited to: Gross Up, Expense Cap, Base Year, Pro-Rata Share, Weighted Occupancy, and Leakage.


  • Prepare monthly balance sheet work papers.
  • Determine when to capitalize versus expense.
  • Summarize driver of financial statement fluxes based on major categories from review of financial statement:
  • Validate data in the system and coordinate any updates required to the correct department/person.
  • Ensure that CAM reconciliations are accurate and that the company is being reimbursed for expenses as allowed by each lease.
  • Review sales tax calculations provided by outsourced partners.
  • Monitor timely reconciliation of all cash accounts via outsourced partners.
  • Review of dates, dollars and that EP pools have been set up on new leases.
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Willingness to take on new projects necessary with the continuous growth and development of the company.


  • BA/BS required, Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience required.
  • Public Accounting experience a plus.
  • Detail oriented, analytical, strong organizational skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, works well under pressure and possess the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize effectively.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • Experience with Yardi are a plus.
