Manager - Insurance Management

Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is an industrial real estate operating platform owned by The Blackstone Group Inc.  Link currently manages a national portfolio of high-quality, well-located industrial assets totaling over 400 million square feet throughout the U.S. 


Responsibilities include understanding and overseeing the companies insurance lines and programs, management of claims and loss control activities, management of relationships with third party service providers including brokers, insurers, preparing loss analyses and budgets, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, implementing approved programs, promoting loss prevention, updating and monitoring compliance with insurance procedures and managing safety/risk management manuals.


  • Work closely with our brokers, shared service solution program managers, property managers, accounting, treasury and legal teams on program structuring, pricing and allocations.
  • Act as liaison between third party property managers and insurer to resolve claims, track payments and understand lender requirements.
  • Manage claim reports, financial claims reserves and interaction with third-party administrator adjusters and department managers
  • Manage and develop protocols on internal safety programs
  • Produce monthly/quarterly/annual reports for budgets, premium allocation, key metrics, renewals, trend analysis and any other reports required for presentation to senior management and internal business partners.
  • Manage claim reports, financial claims reserves and interaction with third-party administrator adjusters and department managers
  • Act as an in-house resource to educate, advise, and counsel company management, property staff and business partners where necessary to reduce or transfer risks.
  • Coordinate the risk control activities of company’s insurance carriers and brokers to effectively reduce company’s exposure to loss.
  • Coordinate issuance and distribution of Certificates of Insurance to company business partners with the broker. Evaluate and monitor incoming certificates to determine if they meet the appropriate contractual requirements and take needed action if not.
  • Assists in the collection, analysis and data input of exposure and policy data for all lines of insurance carried by the Company. 


  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in commercial real estate, preferably for a publicly-traded company.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, financial reports, and legal documents. Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from tenants, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
