Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is an industrial real estate operating platform owned by The Blackstone Group Inc.  Link currently manages a national portfolio of high-quality, well-located industrial assets totaling over 397 million square feet throughout the U.S. 

 

The Regional Associate, FP&A Analyst is responsible for managing a wide range of analytical, budgeting, and forecasting activities within their region, and for efficiently communicating the results of those activities to Link’s centralized finance and reporting teams based in New York and Fort Washington, PA.  The Regional Analysts will be required to develop a deep understanding of the key operating activities of their regions, including leasing, construction/development, and market economics in order to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of their analytical work.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage, undertake, and communicate results of key recurring analytical activities, including:

  • Quarterly/monthly operating budgets
  • Quarterly reforecasting of market rents
  • Review and reporting of key regional operating metrics such as leasing spreads, capital expenditures, and leased/occupancy rates
  • Tailored reporting to regional Managing Directors of Asset Management
  • Collaborate with Fort Washington-based property accounting team on interpretation of key regional and financial operating metrics, especially NOI variance analysis
  • Collaborate with asset management team on composing and monitoring completion of regional business plans
  • Ensure effective use of reporting, financial, and other resources by regional management teams
  • Facilitate communication and serve as key analytical point of contact between regional asset management and centralized PA/NYC accounting/finance teams
  • Gather and analyze regional data
  • Formulate and track regional business plans

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years’ experience in a property company or equivalent accounting, banking, or financial analysis experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Basic knowledge of commercial real estate fundamentals required; industrial real estate knowledge a plus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
