Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is an industrial real estate operating platform owned by The Blackstone Group Inc.  Link currently manages a national portfolio of high-quality, well-located industrial assets totaling over 400 million square feet throughout the U.S. 


The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible to help ensure long-term occupancy in the portfolio by ensuring that third party management firms provide the highest possible level of customer service to tenants and maintain the appearance of assigned properties to company standards as well as monitoring the overall financial health of all properties within the assigned region.


  • Oversight of the operational activity of a subset of properties within the Central Region under the guidance of the Director of Property Management.
  • Main point of contact for third-party property managers for tenant and property issues, including but not limited to, A/R, capital improvements, tenant improvements and emergency work.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Property Management, develop and implement an overall strategic plan for the onboarding of new properties within the portfolio, designed to enhance the value of the assigned portfolio.
  • Continually evaluate all phases of property operations to enhance the efficiency and maximize NOI.
  • Ensure the third-party property management teams maintain the properties in accordance with company standards.
  • Conduct periodic site inspections for properties within the portfolio.
  • Provide ideas toward the implementation of effective tenant retention programs.
  • Review quarterly variance reports submitted by third-party property management teams.
  • Review operating expense reconciliations prepared by the accounting staff for both self-managed and third-party managed properties.
  • Review and track various aspects of property management performance.
  • Ensure smooth transition of tenants into the portfolio.
  • Oversee the move-in / move-out process with third party property managers.
  • Maintain the lease tracker with asset management and the third-party property management teams.
  • Review operating and capital budgets submitted from third-party managers and internal property management staff.
  • Assist with the acquisition review and disposition due diligence.
  • Assist the Director of Property Management with onboarding new property processes.
  • Participate in operational calls with the operations and asset management teams.
  • Provide review and approval for access and license agreements.
  • Participate in resolution of code/zoning/city violations or issues.
  • Must demonstrate a high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation, determination, and initiative in a team environment is key.
  • Perform other activities as required to ensure a high standard of operation.
  • Periodic travel will be required within the portfolio area.


  • 8+ years of experience in real estate, property or project management/operations.
  • BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management or business experience equivalency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Yardi or similar platform.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
