As the Compliance & Privacy Analyst for the firm, your primary responsibilities will be to develop, optimize, and oversee our company’s compliance 2nd-line risk functions and will use our GRC platforms in fulfilment of your objectives. In addition, the role will be part of the deployment of new Governance, Risk, and Compliance technologies and services provided to the business. The role reports to the VP of Compliance & Privacy as your advocate, mentor, and partner in various strategies for the firm overall. You proactively engage stakeholders to understand internal and external needs, fulfilling requirements with a focus on measuring and improving our compliance and governance through your meaningful contributions. This may include monthly and quarterly reporting standards, automating compliance controls, conducting risk assessments, operating our sanctions screening tools, writing new policies or controls based on a variety of frameworks, or engaging in risk remediation efforts with the first line of risk.


  • Manage and support compliance and risk assessments (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX, PCI-DSS, OFAC, CCPA, FCRA) ensure requests are being fulfilled by stakeholder management
  • Participate in internal/external audits run by our third-line risk organization as it relates to evidencing control management practices
  • Assist the business to document, assess, remediate any issues and risks raised during audit examinations and risk assessments
  • Coordinate and collate required evidence for external and internal audit support
  • Manage the control and process libraries and assist the business in implementing internal controls


  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical/security/accounting/business field or a combination of compliance-related work experience and certifications
  • 3+ years of success in compliance functions
  • At least 5 years’ experience in broader functions related to compliance whether cybersecurity, IT governance, internal audit, or operational risk management
  • At least 3 years of experience working with some of the following frameworks or standards: ISO27001, SOC 2, SOX, PCI-DSS, COSO, CCPA, GDPR
  • Demonstrated experience with information security risk, governance, and control frameworks and/or regulatory requirements including NIST CSF, HIPAA, PCI, CSA, etc.
  • Experience working with a GRC tool (e.g., ServiceNow, Galvanize, Workiva, AuditBoard, Metricstream, Archer, etc)
  • Proven ability to provide constructive challenge to the business and ensure risks are assessed adequately and addressed appropriately
  • Proven track record of building interdepartmental relationships to improve compliance governance and reduce operational burden
  • Experience in managing GRC tasks and optimizing evidence collection on behalf of audit colleagues
  • Ability to engage, influence and lead in a positive inspiring manner with strong empathy for delivering results to the business
  • The finesse to deliver positive or negative information professionally and inspirationally that makes sense, urges the business towards best practices, and is nested in the justification of “why”
  • Experience and passion balancing best in class strategy with a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and be a hands-on expert
