As the Cybersecurity Architect  for the firm, your primary responsibilities will be to develop, optimize, and oversee our company’s security by design initiatives covering all projects in flight. In addition, the role will be the technical champion for all cyber-specific technologies selected for use within the company. In this capacity, the architect will be dually accountable as the technical strategist and the tier-3 support for cyber technologies deployed at Link. The role reports to the VP of Cybersecurity as your advocate, mentor, and partner in various strategies for the firm overall. You proactively engage stakeholders to understand internal and external needs, fulfilling requirements with a focus on measuring and improving our risk posture and security countermeasures. This may include monthly and quarterly reporting standards, SIEM/SOC instrumentation, identity and access management, encryption, infrastructure, DLP, MDM, and all other components of a cyber infrastructure.

• Design, Implement, Document, and maintain complex security infrastructure to support the innovative, disruptive technologies of the business
• Advise and mentor IT partners to maintain and follow Security Architecture Best Practices, and established standards, and provide solutions/proof of concepts.
• Create, document, and promote a detailed cybersecurity architectural roadmap.
• Create, document, and promote security solutions in partnership with our data scientists, cloud architects, and dev ops organizations.
• Conduct platform, tool, and process assessments to evaluate existing security controls, identify weaknesses, and make recommendations and process improvements.
• Assess security threats and risks to define and implement appropriate security models.
• Provide guidance to junior security staff and perform deep technical research on the security impacts of new technology.
• Ensure that the platform's security risk controls, mitigations, and approach are aligned with standards, IT, and business goals.
• Provide guidance to ensure policies and best practices are implemented across the firm.
• Broad technical experience in several security disciplines including endpoint and platform (Windows, Azure, and Mobile) controls, encryption/tokenization, identity and access management, data protection, and a myriad of other technologies.
• Regularly reviewing emerging trends, hype cycles, and magic quadrant guidance from industry researchers to ensure the firm applies best in class controls to protect our information and reputation

• Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful maturation of processes and controls
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, etc.)
• Managerial skills to recruit, mentor, and grow the cyber team in conjunction with the VP of Cyber Security.

• Bachelor’s degree or greater required.
• Master's degree in business, information technology, cyber security, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of success in IT and Cyber functions
• At least 5 years’ experience as an architect over multiple security technologies
• Experience evolving enterprise security roadmaps
• Expert level of knowledge with Cloud technologies; preferably Azure and the O365 ecosystem
• Expertise across multiple security platforms with brand familiarity of Okta, Mimecast, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and other “leader quadrant” security platforms.
• Experience with Network Security, Infrastructure Security (Active Directory, Group Policy, Endpoint management), Identity and Access Management, Logging and Monitoring, Incident Response, and Resiliency.
• Expertise designing and rationalizing insourcing and outsourcing models for incident monitoring, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, log analysis, SIEM optimization, and SOC teams.
• Experience with SecDevOps in order to mentor our DevOps teams and advocate for the proper tools and governance to ensure secure coding practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and guide leadership on value-added calculations and ROI of the technology the team is building.
• Experience with IT Security Frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI DSS, and NIST 800-53.
• Experience building security reference architectures for complex information systems based on industry frameworks
• Possess leading certifications such as CISSP, GISP (GIAC Information Security Professional), GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification), PCNSE, CRISC, MCASE, and others.
• Maintain technical and business skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the risk owners across the business
• Be an evangelist with stakeholders, partners, and project teams to ensure security by design
