Link’s Customer Solutions team is responsible for building meaningful, lasting relationships with key customers and the largest occupiers of logistics real estate in the US. The Assistant Vice President, Customer Solutions will report directly to a Vice President of Customer Solutions.

 

In the role, the AVP will collaborate with various departments across Link to ensure the delivery of a consistent and frictionless customer experience. Specifically, the AVP will support two Account Officers (Vice Presidents) based in the West and Central regions and their designated Focus Customers (approx. 60 in total). The environment is fast-paced, customer-centric, and will offer a variety of daily activities including customer interactions, customer research, preparation & follow-ups to meetings, and problem-solving across the Link system. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support two Account Officers (one based in San Francisco, one based in Dallas) in the development and execution of customer strategies for a set of Focus Customers, with the opportunity to grow responsibility over time.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving needs of the customer and troubleshoot multiple issues at once
  • Track and report on progress of customer strategies and team goals
  • Desire to understand the customer’s business and stakeholders and adapt approach as needed
  • Establish relationships within the external real estate community – corporate real estate leaders, brokers, and consultants who may influence decisions to partner with Link
  • Partner with Market Officers, Property Management, Operations, and other key internal customers to ensure the delivery of a consistent customer experience
  • Identify new business and partnership opportunities from interactions with existing and potential customers
  • Provide timely input to Account Officers to improve our overall impact
  • Eventually manage new or up-and-coming accounts as the Single Point of Contact / Account Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10-15 years commercial real estate experience with a focus on relationship management and problem-solving
  • National Accounts experience in Logistics Real Estate on the principal side is a plus, but will consider candidates with Retail or Office Experience
  • Professionals with experience in corporate real estate, brokerage or logistics are encouraged to apply
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus) from an accredited college/university
  • Ability to effectively leverage internal and external partnerships to drive results
  • Strong relationships skills, including the ability to distill information from interactions to gain intelligence and source opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, senior management and staff working independently or as part of a team
  • Domestic travel is required

 

$140,000 - $160,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link.  Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
