Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors (rising seniors) who would be interested in a real estate internship on our Operations team this upcoming summer. Summer interns will work across the industrial spectrum and can expect to have close interaction with the broader operations team. Operations interns have the opportunity to work in one of the following groups: 

 

Construction: Interns in Construction will work with our Construction Operations, Regional Construction/On-site Project Management, Construction Analyst, and all other Construction based teams. They will understand construction-related aspects of a large portfolio of industrial properties. The interns will be exposed to all manners of commercial real estate and will gain an overall understanding of total cost and schedule related to each construction project. The interns will be integrated with Construction Management Software while interpreting, organizing, and tracking all construction documentation related to a job and maintaining constant communication between Regional Project Managers and Senior Vice Presidents of Construction.

 

Building Solutions: Building Solutions interns will engage in the development and implementation of portfolio wide sustainability policies and programs. They will be exposed to internal stakeholders across Link to further develop Building Solutions programs and assist with strategic enterprise-level sustainability and energy efficiency projects 

 

Property Management: Property Management interns will combine customer service, hospitality, and analytical skills to support the property management team as they deliver high-level customer satisfaction and ensure long-term occupancy. Interns will learn about property management and how our team oversees the health of our portfolio 

 

Lease Administration: Lease Administration interns will learn about the day-to-day execution of tasks related to Link’s lease portfolio. Interns will gain an understanding of the team’s reporting and document management. They will have the opportunity to collaborate between departments to maintain the integrity of lease data points in our database and understand all aspects of the lease administration process, including reviewing reports to ensure accurate data.
